How to check the Delivery Status of a message

If you need to check what is the status of the sent message you can use the Insight feature for that.

Checking the Delivery Status of Messages

If the Delivery Status is Sending

If the Delivery Status stays Sending for a prolonged period of time, this may indicate that your Whatsapp Mobile app might not be reachable to Whatsapp servers. To resolve this issue, please follow the following steps:

  1. Open Whatsapp Mobile app on the same device that was used to scan QR code from TimelinedAI and try sending message from it to Timelines support number (+447441447478), the text of the message: “test from whatsapp mobile”. Wait till the message delivery status is updated to Sent and then to Delivered.
  2. If it doesn’t get updated, make sure that your mobile device is charged, restart your mobile device and verify that it is connected to the Internet to make sure that the connectivity of Whatsapp Mobile app is restored.
  3. Repeat steps 1 – 2 until successful.
  4. Try sending message from TimelinesAI to Timelines support number (+447441447478), the text of the message: “test from TimelinesAI”. Wait till the message delivery status is updated to Sent and then to Delivered.
  5. If it doesn’t, navigate to https://app.timelines.ai/whatsapp and change the time of taking over Whatsapp session in Whatsapp tab to 10 min.
  6. Open regular Whatsapp Web and try sending message from it to Timelines support number (+447441447478), the text of the message: “test from whatsapp web”. Make sure the message shows up in your Whatsapp Mobile app.
  7. Repeat step (4).
  8. If the above didn’t help, you have a major connectivity issue with your Whatsapp Mobile app. We recommend reinstalling Whatsapp Mobile app or switching to another mobile device.
