One workspace for every WhatsApp setup

Connect the WhatsApp setup your team already uses to TimelinesAI: a personal WhatsApp number, a WhatsApp Business App number, or the official WhatsApp Business Platform (WABA). Bring conversations into a shared workspace and connect them to your CRM without forcing every team into the same connection path.

Choose QR when your priority is keeping the phone workflow. Choose WABA when your workflow needs Meta's official API and approved templates. For an eligible WhatsApp Business App number, Coexistence can keep the app on the phone while adding WABA to that same number.

The account types we cover

Four setups, four connection paths - each with its own rules, spelled out before setup.

QR connection

Personal WhatsApp

Best fit: teams that need to keep using an existing personal number from the phone.

This is not an official WABA connection.

QR connection

WhatsApp Business App

Best fit: teams that use the Business App and want shared visibility and CRM workflows.

QR and WABA have different rules and capabilities.

Meta Embedded Signup

WhatsApp Business Platform - WABA

Best fit: teams that need the official API, approved-template messaging and WABA workflows.

Meta eligibility, messaging rules and fees apply.

Coexistence

Eligible Business App + WABA

Best fit: teams that want the Business App and official API on the same number.

Meta decides eligibility; the connection has feature and throughput limits.

Keep the workflow that fits the team

A guided choice between QR, standard WABA and Coexistence instead of a one-size-fits-all migration.

Personal number or Business App via QR

Keep the number on the phone and connect it to TimelinesAI through QR. Use the shared inbox and CRM context - without claiming that the connection is WABA.

Official WABA

Connect through Meta Embedded Signup for official API workflows and Meta-approved templates. This path follows Meta's account eligibility, 24-hour messaging window, template approval and per-message fee rules.

Business App and WABA on the same number

Meta calls this Coexistence: an eligible WhatsApp Business App stays active on the phone while the same number is connected to WABA in TimelinesAI. The app and official API can operate side by side; it is not a promise of full feature parity or historical-message import.

What TimelinesAI brings together

+ A shared place for the team to work with WhatsApp conversations.
+ CRM context and workflows around the connection path the team chooses.
+ QR-connected personal and Business App numbers alongside official WABA accounts.
+ A guided choice between QR, standard WABA and Coexistence instead of a one-size-fits-all migration.

Set expectations before setup

We would rather tell you the boundaries up front than surprise you after setup.

  • WABA onboarding runs through Meta Embedded Signup and has no promised setup time.
  • Meta approves accounts and templates; TimelinesAI cannot guarantee eligibility or approval.
  • Meta messaging fees are separate. WABA messages are not free.
  • Free-form API replies are governed by Meta's 24-hour window; approved templates are needed outside it.
  • Coexistence is for eligible WhatsApp Business App numbers, not personal WhatsApp numbers or numbers already on Cloud API.
  • Existing 1:1 history remains on the phone; TimelinesAI mirrors new supported messages after activation.
  • Coexistence throughput is capped at 20 messages per second and cannot be upgraded on that same-number path.
  • Groups, calls and some message types do not have full Cloud API parity. Verify the required workflow before choosing a path.
  • Availability and eligibility must be checked for the specific number during Embedded Signup.
