Try TimelinesAI WhatsApp Close CRM integration to automatically send a WhatsApp message when an Opportunity status changes at Close CRM.
1. 1. Open TimelinesAI Zapier integration and click Create Zap
TimelinesAI Zapier Integration allows to automatically send a WhatsApp message when a deal (opportunity) changes the stage in an external system (such as CLOSE CRM).
2. Add a Trigger
In summary, we’re retrieving opportunities from Close CRM that changed their stage. Example: an opportunity was moved from the “Demo Completed” to the ” Proposal Sent” stage at Close.
- click the “Trigger” box
- In a newly opened window type Close> select Close
- select “New Opportunity in Status” as an event
- click “Continue”
- make sure the correct Close CRM account was connected to your Zap and click “Continue”
3. Set up a trigger
- select the desired new status under the “New Status ID” field. In our example, we are tracking opportunities that changed TO the “Proposal Sent” stage
- select the desired initial/previous status under the “Old Status ID” field. In our example, we are tracking opportunities that changed FROM “Demo completed” stage
Two triggers combined will result in deals that were in the “Demo completed” stage but then moved to the”Proposal sent” stage
4. Test a trigger
- open the “Opportunities” > pipeline within your Close CRM account
- move a sample deal from one stage to another
- go back to your Zap settings and click the “Test trigger”.
- a sample record will load. Make sure the record contains the phone number
- click “Continue with selected record”
5. Set up an action
In summary: we preparing to send a WhatsApp message to the selected Close CRM opportunities
- click the “Action” box
- In a newly opened window type Timelines> select Timelines
- select “Send Message to a New Chat” as an event
- click “Continue”
6. Set up an action
- select your WhatsApp account
- select “1.Lead Contact Phone Phone” as a “Phone Number”
- type in the desired WhatsApp message text. This is the WhatsApp message that will be sent to your Close CRM lead when their stage changes at Close.
- click “Continue”
7. Results
Time to check the results.
Once Zap is executed whenever a deal changes the stage at Close CRM, a WhatsApp message will be sent to a user.
In our example, an opportunity (deal) for the user named James was moved from the “Demo Completed” to the ” Proposal Sent” stage at Close CRM. This resulted in a new WhatsApp message to James.
