TimelinesAI

Connect any AI assistant with one prompt

Copy one prompt, paste it into your AI assistant, and it connects itself to TimelinesAI, whichever tool you use.

The prompt sends your assistant to a short setup file we keep up to date at timelines.ai/whatsapp-mcp-setup.md. From there it works out which tool it's running in, adds TimelinesAI and checks that the connection works. It never sends a WhatsApp message during setup.

Coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Grok Build and Gemini CLI do the whole setup for you. Chat apps such as Claude and ChatGPT can't change their own settings, so they walk you through the few clicks instead.

If your assistant says it can't open links, go back and pick your tool's own page. The steps there take a couple of minutes.

Why it matters

It's the quickest way in when you don't know where your tool keeps its connector settings. You paste one line, and the assistant handles the details for the tool it runs in. New to TimelinesAI? The sign-in page it opens lets you create an account on the spot.

  1. 1

Open the AI assistant you use and start a new chat.

  2. 2

Click Copy the setup prompt above, paste it into the chat and send it.

  3. 3

Let the assistant work. It stops only for what it can't do itself: signing in to TimelinesAI in your browser and, if you haven't connected a number yet, scanning the WhatsApp QR code.

When it's done, the assistant checks the connection with a read-only question and tells you what it found: how many WhatsApp numbers are connected and anything still left to do.

    See your numbers? You're connected.

Using Claude Code? A connector added during a chat only loads in a new session. When Claude Code asks, start a new session, paste the same prompt again, and it picks up where it stopped.
