Pipedrive Integration: Leads and Pipelines

The Pipedrive Integration on TimelinesAI allows you to choose whether you’d like to create new Leads or Deals, whenever you get a new WhatsApp chat.

In this article, we’ll go over the settings for automatic creation of leads and choose the Pipeline in which new Deals should be created.

Create Leads Automatically

The Pipedrive Integration will allow you to create leads automatically, whenever you get a new WhatsApp chat.

To do so, you’ll need to go to the Pipedrive Integration settings on TimelinesAI and connect your Pipedrive Organization Account by referring to the steps within this article: How to integrate WhatsApp with Pipedrive

Once you have connected TimelinesAI with your Pipedrive account, then you’ll see the following:

The setting we need to check here is the “Action on New Chat“, which should be set to “Create new Lead“. Also, you may consider leaving the “Auto-add Chat as New Person” enabled, so the system can create Persons and associate them to the new leads that will be created.

After setting the integration this way, TimelinesAI will create new Leads based on new WhatsApp chats. The system will also sync WhatsApp chats into the Lead feed, so you can review the interaction that you and your team have with your contacts:

TimelinesAI will provide you with:

  • Chat history: We’ll group chat messages based on the date that these occurred.
  • Phone Number: The phone number will be taken from the WhatsApp contact
  • WhatsApp Chat Link: The link will be associated with the WhatsApp chat; clicking on it will open a new tab where you’ll be able to review the chat thread on TimelinesAI

Defining the Pipeline for New Deals

Now, if you want to use the Pipedrive Integration to create new Deals instead, then TimelinesAI will present you with the following options:

Make sure to select the option “Create a new Deal“, within the “Action on New Chat” drop-down menu.

Once that’s done, you’ll see that a drop-down menu will display at the bottom, which will allow you to select one of your Pipelines on Pipedrive.

Once you select the Pipeline, TimelinesAI will create new Deals within that same Pipeline.
